tell me about them. Heavy and bulky i know, but works of art in my opinion. I don't own, but am thinkin' on it. Would prefer a 92 but can't find one in the money. Will I like the .40 version?

I've owned two 92's and a 96. Personally, I thought the 96 was the heaviest recoiling .40 I've shot to date. I actually like the 92, with the "G" and "D" models being my favorite, but I didn't care for the 96 at all.

Never was able to be accurate with a Beretta 96 although i am fairly accurate with an m9a1 so i'm not sure if it was the gun or just me not having shot enough at the time. Wouldn't mind finding another one someday just have, maybe a 96 Brigadier model.

On a Beretta kick myself right now..... HIGHLY recommend VZ grips for them. Turns them into a whole different gun for me.

I really like my stainless 96, except the front sight is part of the slide so I can't change it. I also have a Taurus PT 92, it looks the same as the Berreta but, it's not. The 96 is a much better gun than the Taurus.

Just picked up a Beretta 92fs that had to be sold used even though it was NIB from my LGS. For 400.00 I couldn't let it pass.

coles dist. has some 92's in stock that haven't been priced yet. Soon as they are I intend to get me a shooter and forego the 96. I have heard the military mags are kind of hit or miss in quality/reliability? if they are cheap enough that is ok, but beretta mags are the cats meow. Any thoughts?
