I seen at the gun show today a dealer had armor piercing ammo, I'm 99% sure that its illegal in Oklahoma to own, so how is he able to sell it?

It wasn't the steel core 556 ammo, he had several different calibers, including 50 caliber.
It was black tipped which designates it as armor piercing.
After going back and reading what I could find, I guess it may be vague on purpose, all I could find was that AP ammo was restricted in Oklahoma. I have looked it up before and just figured it was all AP ammo. This is why OSA is such a great site.

To my knowledge it's prohibited for SDA carry purposes and for hunting but didn't know it's illegal to possess.
Only if it fits a handgun. You can buy all the '06 or 50bmg ap you want.
