I'm old, fat, and have a flakey brain. Besides, it was stolen from someone else long before I ripped it off. Probably from one of the Sergeants in Sargon's army. Though I did enjoy Schlock Mercenary once upon a time. I learned it from John Ringo books, which stole it from Schlock. He wrote a whole series of books based in the Schlock universe.

Yep the Troy Rising series was first rate, I've enjoyed all of Ringo's work. His Black Tide Rising books are the best zombie apocalypse stories I've read.
Only things of his I've not really liked completely were his Keldara or Ghost books. I prefer my pornography In Braille. Not interested S&M, either. That series I have to read like Heinlein's last few novels. Skim the porn so I don't miss necessary parts of the story, but don't actually read the porn.
