There isn't actual discussion from the ATF on issuing a new rule or reclassifying firearms already submitted/approved for importation.

I’m not so sure. The ATF is really trying to screw us here lately. They want to dismantle the 2A. And as long as they get away with it they will. So far, nobody has done anything about it.

This is how easily we can be disarmed folks. The ATF literally does whatever it wants with zero accountability. The EO Trump signed was meaningless. And we all know the courts will allow the ATF to do whatever they want. Just like the bumpstock case. It’s coming folks.

For the love of God, let the bumpstock thing go. It's not even remotely the same. The bumpstock was not a gun. It was classified an accessory. Keep reminding them how easy it is to get rid of accessories. You know the SCOTUS ruled that suppressors are accessories too.

That's not the way to look at it--This is a dress rehearsal for banning and confiscation! We need to contact Sen. Inhofe and Lankford and our individual representatives to get them to fight this. The ATF needs to be brought in line.

The NRA doesn’t seem to care about anything beyond FUDD guns and carry pistols. And barely even that.

That's why I dumped the NRA and have gone with the 2nd Amendment Foundation, GOA and OK2A.

This just broke, so I doubt they have had the time to get anything out yet. I'd look for something from them tomorrow. Same with the 2nd Amendment Foundation and Firearms Policy Coalition.

This is way different from "the bumpstock thing." This is reclassifying firearms on a whim and creating insta-felons. Also, the ATF is directly defying President Trump's EO in the belief that Biden will win the election. We need to emphasize to Congress, the President and the DOJ that they need to get the ATF on a leash.

There is already precedent on reclassification. The "Street Sweeper" and two other shotguns were reclassified as destructive devices in 1994. Existing owners had to paper them but there was no tax, they got a free stamp. Subsequent transfers would require paying the tax.

this is just fear mongering by none other than some douche in a state where ak and ar pistols are not legal anyhow so he has nothing better to do than gawk at the rest of the country that actually has some freedoms. IMO this stuff they propagate the government is conspiring does more bad than good because they gain more ground and FYI this will never fly in oklahoma anyhow,. none of us are going to comply. they can change the law, but im grandfather'd in as far as im concerned.
