Best cell phone and company? I am goning to get a new phone, what say the masses?

For coverage in Oklahoma, AT&T is hard to beat, but Verizon is closing the gap. New s3 looks like a good choice for functionality, but Apple has the most apps.

I liked US Cellular and would use it again - if it were available out here in the sticks. We're using pay-as-you-go now (Straight talk) with mixed results.

AT&T couldnt PAY me to come back to them. Am happier with verizon.

My opinion is that they all suck and customer service is terrible. I have been with Sprint for over 10 years but only because of a 25% discount I still get from a job I used to have. My suggestion is to talk to the people in the area where you will use your phone the most and find out who is the happiest. All the carriers have strong and weak areas. AT&T is the only carrier that works around my house but I have an internet booster that makes Sprint tolerable. Verizon works great in most parts of OKC. I have one of their wi-fi cards but it is useless at my house. It really just depends on where you're going to be using it.

Street date in November. As for Carrier, I'm sticking with Sprint ONLY because I still get a 25% discount from my last job.

In Southern OK where I live it seems you have two choices AT&T or US Cellular. AT&T is the better of the two, but drops calls all the time. Internet is good. They probable do all suck but I would think that in OK in general AT&T has the market. I'm not ecstatic about them but overall satisfied.

I have Sprint, they have been ok so far.

I had T-Moblie for the past 10 years before that, they were ok too.

They all screw you. Just depends on who you want to let do the screwing.

I am going to get a new "smartphone".

If you spend a lot of time outdoors or in bright sunlight you may not like the smart phones...the displays do not get bright enough for easy use, especially the phone. If I had to do it over I'd get a conventional flip phone and a tablet or pad.

please feel free to post/vote more! your input is vital to my decision! I feel that I get a bunch of dropped calls from ATT. I have an Iphone 3gs for personal use and a sony ericson android on verizon for business. I want a device that makes phone calls and is a good smartphone. not very impressed with the iphone 3gs so far

If you dont like the 3GS then you probably wont like the 5. Each iphone has a slightly better camera, processor (faster), and resolution thats about it. Siri is a gimmick in my opinion.
