We have AT&T for a few years now and it has been good I guess. Do you rate how well a cell phone company performed if it has been uneventful? I dont care to get into the phone debate because its not really worth the time scrutinizing one phone over the other. FWIW I bought the iphone for resell value and it does what I need it to (call, internet, music, pics)

US Cellular and a Samsung Galaxy S3. I travel and usually have someone with me. We compare signals and dropped calls on the road, US Cellular beats the others hands down on coverage. The Galaxy S3 has good battery life and call quality.

I am going to get a new "smartphone". Please vote in the poll and let me know what yall think about them and the companies providers out there.

First you need an unlocked iPhone. You can buy one from an individual, but whomever had it on contract will need to get ATT to unlock it. If you need the online form, I can provide the url.

Once the phone is unlocked, purchase a Straight Talk micro sim card. Then call Straight Talk and pay $45 per month for unlimited data, texting and calling on the ATT network.

Motorola is the pioneer of the cell phone. Motorola is made locally I believe also (In OK IIRC). I left apple (hated it) for my Motorola droid and simply could not be happier. When it dies, i will replace it with another Motorola. The droid OS is much better thatn apple and you can actually change a battery in a droid in seconds. Try that with an apple.

Verizon, waiting for my sprint contract to run out. I had sprint years ago their service sucked and it still does in the Tulsa and New Orleans areas. I have a Verizon hotspot and it's smoking fast a former co worker had Verizon and I was jealous. I didn't switch to VZW when I fired at&t because at the time they did not offer a state employee discount plan. Now that they do I will be making the switch next year.

I have a personal phone through US Cellular and an iPhone for work through AT&T. Love the service and plan from US but hate their phone selection, love my iPhone and at&t hasn't been bad. iphone and AT&T for me.

I am suprised by the poll results and wonder if people just vote what they have.

This is my thought as well. I am curious if the people voting AT&T have experience with Verizon. It has been far superior for call quality and reliability for me.

To be fair, I was very happy with US Cellular when I had them, but it's been some 11 years or so. So I can't give a fair assessment.

My wife (then girlfriend) had Sprint back then, and the customer service and billing was so terrible that I swore I would never give them my business. But I will say, they are currently very popular among our employees in KC (being based there, the signal quality and service in eastern Kansas was ubiquitous and outstanding)

I have used US Cellular for many years. I have never had a problem with dropped calls. It is always funny that if we are working in any remote area in NEOK, I always have service, while the other people I work with/around who use ATT get no service. I am currently using a Samsung Mesmerize, but will be switching to a Galaxy S3 soon.
