I read in an old issue of OKLAHOMA MAGAZINE about a place called Clantons; they claim its darn fine. Bigger'n the plate and covered in cream gravy...might be worth a road trip I'm thinking.

The Osage Casino in Ponca has a huge Chicken fry. I ordered the half, and took some home in a box. Very crispy, and a true chicken fry, not a soy substitute for meat like some have.

Never cared for chicken fried steak. It's okay, just never liked it enough to order that over anything else. Guess I'm the black sheep in these parts.
