I have 4 Glock 9mm's...my favorite for self defense. I don't have any experience with the lower priced Sigs, but I love the P229 and P226.

Wonder-nine? Who says that? Glock wins. It has everything you want, except you don't want one. And that's a bad choice. An XDm 5.25 is almost as good, and has better sights and trigger right out of the box.

A little test I did Sunday at the range, sorry but I forgot to add in my Walther P99. The ones represented for this are Beretta 92 Centurian, Ruger SR9, Glock G17, and SIG P226. All targets were shot from 25yds standing with a two hand hold icosolices (SP) stance.

CZ SPO1. The most accurate 9mm I've shot...and I've shot a lot of different brands trying to find the "very best". Half the price of some of the "big name brands". Great range gun. Big, but has a nice feel. Heavy enough that it reduces recoil for fast follow-up shots. Comes with standard night sights.

I have to agree. Having grown up around Handguns/Rifles and shot a lot of 9mm the most accurate/comfortable 9mm I have laid hands to would be my CZ 75 Compact and every other CZ I have picked up CZ 75B, SP-O1, and P-07. I have always enjoyed the single action of 1911s and found the same comfort with the CZ line with the added bonus of the SA/DA with external safety instead of a de-cocker. The ergonomics are second to none and as mentioned above the accuracy is top notch. I also prefer the steel frame to other polymer options. Just my .02
