Not a zombie movie
It is most assuredly a highly debated topic, but there are certainly some zombie elements to the deadites....
A zombie is generally an undead creature resurrected by witchcraft or magic, and you could argue that demonic possession is witchcraft or magic. The only real difference being that the living can be possessed by deadites.
return of the living dead was one of the first zombie movies i ever watched when i was about 7 or 8, so i always like that one. also army of darkness when i was around that age. i like 28 days later and the newer dawn of the dead, but of course zombieland is the best one so far.
I'll second that. The movie was way ahead of its time. If I remember right when it was at the movie theater it was Rated X.
Deadites are intelligent for one thing. Appearance is the only thing remotely similar thing between those and zombies and then only sometimes. The only movie(s) I can think of that are similar are the REC movies.
For me it's a toss-up between the remake of Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later. I guess I like runners.
How in the world is BadgeBunny the first one to mention zombie strippers?? Strippers vs. Zombies is an odd but kinda funny movie.

Are the 28 Days folks actually Zombies? I haven't seen any of them before.... I WILL watch them someday but they are never on when I can catch them.
