It's actually kind of a good show. Not appropriate for children though by any stretch of the imagination.

Yep. I love me some Sons of Anarchy, too, but it's not something I'd have let my gradeschool age kids watch it, either ...

I don't know what the big deal is myself. I had absolutely no problem telling my kids "NO" ... seems like some parents these days just don't want to be saddled with the burden of raising their kids ... at least that's they way it seems to me ...

It was a great show. Right up next to Dexter IMO. BB had the best and most timely ending of any show I've ever watched. Most of the time a popular show gets strung out for too many seasons and starts to suck. Also they usually try and get too cute with an ending. BB had the perfect run from start to finish.

As far as the toys, I think this is marketed to adult children that still play with action figures and live in their moms basement. I sincerely doubt many 10 year olds are regular watchers of BB.

Very well said!
Angel was another show that ended well. And Fargo also.

So because I have star wars figures or figures from other movies or shows I enjoy, I live in my parents basement? Wonder if my wife knows this :chop:

Another vote for dont like it dont buy it. Just because I wouldnt buy it for my children doesnt mean everyone else thinks that way.

For example we have a no dolls rule in our house. Both myself and eyecyou think they are creepy so we wont be buying any for our daughter. Does that mean I am going around trying to get all dolls off the shelves? Nope. To each their own.

I go into Toys'r'us about once per year, when I'm Christmas shopping for my nieces and nephews, and there's at least one full aisle of "action figures" that are aimed quite squarely at adults. Some of those make the Breaking Bad toys look absolutely passé.

Of course, I'm sure they'd freak right the flip out if they saw some of the stuff in the comic book shops. A friend dragged me into one in NW OKC about 20 years ago (comics never were my thing, so I couldn't tell you exactly where), and I still remember seeing the porn star action figures on the top shelf. I guess that sort of puts the "action" in "action figure," now doesn't it?

We *might* make an exception depending on the type of doll and what it looks like.

Action figures, barbies, heck even stuffed animals dont bother me. But dolls? Nope I am out. Probably too many movies.
