You guys are harsh . I'd take my mail box down if I were you. It went to hell when I left. . Priority Mail is still one of the quickest ways to get it but UPS is the best these days. Amazon Prime with USPS Sunday delivery if you live in town is not too shabby either. My regular letter carrier is the union steward or in other words, the laziest one in the building. Look at when they hand it over to USPS. This rate is the cheapest offered and they are in no hurry to get it home.

Considering this month, USPS lost my check for $1568 in the mail on 3-27-17 AND a postman all the sudden couldn't find my address so a package almost got sent back. (Luckily I check everything and caught it before the returned to sender) I called the Blanchard post office and sure enough... a new guy missed my house in the neighborhood and instead of going back out he tried to return it.

So no, I don't think I'm too harsh. I avoid them at all cost when I can
