Quick whack at making a knife.

Solidworks doesn't like all the curves.

I realize everyone is probably tired of this... but I'm not!

Playing with featherweight uppers, this is using a 14.5" LW contour barrel turned down to .525" in front of and behind the gas seat, CF rail, shaved upper.

According to SW, this combo is checking in at 3 lbs 1.1 oz. Still have a couple things to add, CH latch and pin for example. I shaved off the FA and dust cover hinges, so no parts there.

Complete rifle, using the ACE Ultralight stock (need to get my hands on one to model more accurately). This doesn't have all the pins and springs internally, working on that.

SW says 4 lbs 10.9 oz total.

How to tell you have bored engineers. I need to start toying around with solidworks more, right now I'm fairly good with Pro/Engineer but most places prefer Solidworks. Good job on the modeling Nikat.
