Buying a new baby

We just sold my husband's Ruger P95. He's got his sights set on a Springfield XD-45.
I was gonna pick it up tonight, but the store closed at 6.

Gonna be one happy man in our house tomorrow!

Has he checked out the S&W M&P .45? I have one and love it.

At this point, he practically lives & breathes that XD. So the M&P will have to come later.
It's strange how into self defense & firearms we've become, just in the last few months.
Especially being a woman, I don't want to rely on anyone to "take care of me". I now know that if something bad were to happen, I can handle it. It's very empowering. I wish we could make more women understand this feeling.
