I think that it depends on whether the gun is used or not. There is some law about having a new gun for a year before they can sell new without paperwork. I don't have enough info. to elaborate any farther and may not have all of my facts straight.

I'll bump this up because I'm curious myself.
I don't think that is the case if you buy a Gun today and next week you
don't like it anymore you can sell it FTF if you so please !

Not true if you have a Federal Firearms License. Once you buy a gun sure you can sell it but you have to do a 4473 on the buyer and record it in your bound book.
