I would add to that to make sure it's a coated rod like a Dewey's with a brass tip for attachments. They flex and move around but hardly ever bend unless your swinging it at something.
No exposed steel in the bore including steel wire core bronze brushes. Use only brass wire bronze brushes.

So aside from your facetious answers, what are you saying? How do you know about cleaning rods aside from pump shotguns and G19 issued sidearms? C'mon, say it!

I've just learned so much from people on here like you and others.

Pump shotguns and G19 issued sidearms? I don't understand and hope you will help me with it.
