I mean what do you expect, don’t really know any fans out there for any sport that want to jump online and talk about a loss.I’ve been looking through all these college football threads for the Sooner fans lol, nothing but crickets now…
Until you posted in this thread looking for crap the last post was in January lol. Lust much? I've posted in the other threads. OU got whooped and lost to a better team. KState has been able to do something that osu and texas can't do and that's beat OU regularly.I’ve been looking through all these college football threads for the Sooner fans lol, nothing but crickets now…
Especially when they talk alot of smack preseason about how great OU is lol.I mean what do you expect, don’t really know any fans out there for any sport that want to jump online and talk about a loss.
I imagine. Especially when Martinez runs for like 50 yards on a 3rd and 16 play. Thought BV was a defense guy? There are a couple of other threads about yesterday's game.
Expectations for OU are still pretty high. It's possible that expectations were a little too high for a new coaching staff and significantly different team, but yesterday was a little dose of reality. I think OU is going in a good direction, and maybe they'll learn that no one is going to lay down and roll over for them. It normally takes a couple of years to get the players that fit your system, I think four games into the BV era they are not in bad shape, although yesterday was painful to watch.
You'd probably have to ask the announcers, since they are the ones that used that term. But OU's defense had looked pretty good in the first three games. So that's probably why.So, I’ll throw this out there. I didn’t tune in till almost half time, was watching Arkansas-TXAM. First thing I hear from the commentators is all about OU’s “ELITE” defense. Them Martinez, who hasn’t done in his rather long collegiate career, puts up his record numbers. 5 TD’s, over 500 yards of offense, with an UNRANKED team that just lost to another UNRANKED team. Somebody please explain where the “elite” comes from?
