500 mile race and 400 mile range, how long is that pit stop?

I'm not against the concept. I am against their BS green rhetoric, the lack of infrastructure and battery life/expense. The "benefits" don't add up.

That would be the most boring race ever. The Dodge entry goes 85 miles and takes 4 hours to fully charge, then goes another 85 miles, takes 4 hours to recharge and then goes another 85 miles... The 24 hours of NASCAR...

BTW, they won't allow Tesla's in many cases at drag strips for several reasons:

1) No good way to mount roll cages
2) Weight
3) Fire Hazard
