I dont know what it's called but I grew up with it always on the counter in summer. Cucumbers, onion vinegar and a little water, and black pepper, I added a habinaro also. It's been percolating for 2 days and I can't walk by without a bite. I leave the fork in the bowl lol.

I used to work for a German Baptist construction company part time and all the guys on the crew had this in their lunch every day. Brought me some to try and I've been making it since. No one in the house likes it, so I never have to go without.

Cast iron fried with a lot of butter and big dab of minced garlic like I been doin with any ribey I'd get from a butcher....and these were the toughest, most grisly steakes I ever tried to eat.
But i guess I'll eat it because i bough the whole little steer and it ended up costing me 2x what it should have.
Bought it from a member here. Won't name him though. He knows.

my wife calls them refrigerator pickles I just call them cucumbers and onions in vinegar water, I went to a cookout once where they ran the cucumbers through a cheese grater and finely diced the onion it wasnt bad I have not made it that way myself yet.
