I tried the caramel recipe this evening, and it tastes incredible but didn’t firm up for some reason. It’s pretty thick but not “firm”, so I’m planning to use for a topping on ice cream if I don’t just eat it with a spoon.
Another secret ingredient the Japanese like to use on ice cream: Corn flakes!!! Add that with your caramel!!! The best!!!

Looks great! Care to share recipe? We've got neck and soup bones that need using.
I'm a whole lot better at eating Pho than I am making it :).....you may want to try one or both of these recipes.


Since it looks like you are from Tuttle if you want a really good bowl of Pho on the southside of OKC without driving all the way north to the Asain district in OKC try Pho B & B on the corner of S. Penn and 89th.....mama and I treated @swampratt to a bowl there and judging by his empty bowl he really liked it.
