Criminals against Guns on campus

So I'm walking to class, enjoying the nice weather out today and I see a person wearing a sign and a ski mask that says Criminals against guns on campus and carrying a clipboard to get signatures. I can't be the only one that thinks this is ridiculous.

Don't tell me you think he is serious?

Ever think this might be sarcasm? The fact that he is dressing like a criminal and advocating a "gun free" campus is to demonstrate that criminals are in favor of restrictions on guns on campus because such restrictions allow them [criminals] to much more readily victimize peole on campus.

Don't they teach critical reasoning any more?

It sounds more to me like a joke... Yes it's ridiculous; that we don't allow guns on campus. I think the message that they're trying to get across is that if you do support gun-free campuses, then you support criminals.

I don't think they are advertising for a gun free campus. I may be dumb, but I think they are promoting the opposite.

I am with TripleD......being that Section 1277 item D makes it illegal to carry on campus. I don't know how I feel about this, there was an incident at OCCC last year where the OCPD along with the campus security had the school on lockdown and were searching for a suspect on campus. One of the security guards got a little trigger happy and fired off a round at nothing. We need to be able to protect ourselves but does pulling your gun make you a target of any trigger happy legally carrying person?
