just picked up my NIB CZ 452 Varmint ... talk about pleased!!!

won the stock lottery.... sure is deluxe to hold nice wood!
mounting a scope as I post this...

looks like any std .22 or airgun scope mounts will work fine.
height will depend on person and how rifle is held. medium works fine for me.
getting ready to try a high mount for a 50mm objective Leupold EFR 3.5x10

That's nice stripe. Don't think you see that all that often on Turkish Walnut. Very nice.

here's 452 Varmint with Leupold 3.5x10 50mm EFR using high mounts to clear 50mm objective. Scope has target dot crosshairs.

got to clean out barrel's packing grease before firing.
next up is a trip to Sand Spring Gun Club... am I glad to be a member!!!

OSA is finally up again...

been dying to post this... first outing with 452 Varmint
must have tried 6 different ammo at 100yds.
nothing to write home about until CCI .22LR Mini Mag

.680 group at 100 yds with two witnesses at Sand Springs Gun with a light wind.

Dlbleak - I ordered from Damascus on a Monday & received my gun on Thursday. I didn't negotiate Express shipping. They sent it USPS.

placed my order thurs early afernoon .. email FFL by 6pm
they shipped via USPS parcel post by next morning.

arrived Monday morning Tulsa

took down stock and adjusted trigger light as factory settings would allow.
3lb 0oz adjusted down to 2lb 2oz ... would like to get it down to 1lb 8oz

looks like I'll be chasing down some springs and stoning the sear soon.
