I guess I am lucky that I park in a garage - because I always leave stuff in my truck. I absolutely hate thieves - I sit here and work hard for my "toys" and they try to take them from us.

He's not a minor. But he is a deadbeat, so even though I will file a civil claim against him, I'll likely never see a cent.

I forgot about the gun, it was a slip. My step-dad is a felon, so bringing a handgun into his house is kinda... well, nothing anyone would ever know about, but it's just a thought that goes through my head.

As for buffing out the scratches/pits, they are deep enough it would affect th thickness of the window in that spot and would cause distortion issues.

Got a quote today from Safelite.... $1200! Damn! And they said that is the cash price, they didn't offer me any discount to try to help cover my deductible. They said insurance companies actually pay less, so I won't be getting a discount. A buddy of mine who does glasswork on the side checked and his cost on the glass alone was $770. Dangit! If I have to pay more than $100 or so out of pocket, it's going to be waiting for a while, even though it is a nasty-looking mar on my black beauty.


And a paging alarm is one like this one that will send a page to the remote control when it is triggered, letting me know if I am out of earshot or asleep (as in this case) if someone is messing with my ride.

Thats what I had to do, since my apartment is oposite to the parking lot and the alarm alone wouldn't do me any good. Let it hurt just once and spend the money on a good one. Just my two cents.
