Well I got delayed for the first time today. Day off and I just wanted a shotgun. Guy said they could be busy or the fact I was born overseas (Clark afb) either way I am not a very patient person hope they call back today!


Just got the call approved all I needed was some Internet whining!

I've actually never experienced this delay syndrome you guys talk about.
Perhaps it's all those years working fror the circus in SA.
I don't know, but I thought the PIN thing would fix that.
It's gotta be the record number of purchases this year.

Me too. Well, 75% of the time. And I've never gotten a call-back. Makes it nearly impossible for me to buy a gun from brick and mortars like Academy that require a call-back, or at a gun show that only lasts 2 days. It's cost me several real bargains.

I had the same experience today at Henry's in Yukon. It's all computerized now and Johnny tried to call only to learn they are not accepting phone calls at this time. It seems really fishy to me I smell a rat. I've bought several guns in there recently all with no trouble. I'm half pissed and embarrassed all at the same time. It works. My one and only attempt at buying at a gunshow had a delay. I ended up not buying the gun because the dealer was from out of town.

Picked up a Crickett .22 for the grand kids Saturday afternoon. Took me longer to fill out the form than it to to call it in and get the go ahead.

Im delayed about 50% of the time. Went to pick up my SR1911 from SSP on Saturday knowing that I was going to.be delayed and I was able to take it home after all. I was very happy until I went fishing and my boat sank.
