Have had a desktop PC for many moons, the old pc finally crashed. Have a new laptop, but am finding it somewhat difficult to use. Which do you prefer and why?

I have both, I tend to use desktop far more.
I have both but use the laptop all the time as it sits on my lap while I watch TV.
Desktop is in my office out of site of the tv and girlfriend.
I don't have a desk top, but I take my lap top out to the deck, shop, garage, etc. Wireless connection, so mobility is the key for me.
Desktop...can't be beat for all the video work I do - laptop won't get the job done. Multiple bigger screens, more powerful components - it's just better.
I've got 2 laptops and the only time they ever get turned on is when I travel out of state. Plus, with cloud storage, I really don't need to lug a portable with me as I can access files from my phone.

Laptop with docking station and full-size keyboard, mouse, monitor, and external storage. Best of both worlds.
Winner. I run dual monitors off mine, some of the newer dells will run 3-4 screens.
Laptops are king for plinking around the web...
Desktop is king for doing work. I voice over a lot, and it's hard to squeeze truly good video/audio cards into a laptop without paying premiums. Plus laptops seem to lag when I bootleg blurays. But I've always had an affinity for building my own.
