I have lots of old classic calls. Keep a rabbit squealer in my hunting backpack for the end of the day in a blind to call in a coyote. I'd rather take a coyote than a deer.

When my Mom sold her house in Oklahoma and I bought mine, I had to clean out all my Dad’s hunting stuff, and he had a quite a few calls. When I was turkey hunting last week, I used his old box call for the first time, and I think it was a Lynch like the one pictured. Mine is a Lohman that I bought 20+/- years ago when I first started hunting up there, but because I’m not really a “turkey hunter”, it hasn’t been used but a handful of times.

Basically it is a slate call. It has a air space under it.
