I think the little dudes are pretty cool, personally.

I see them outside, massacring the insect population, and I think to myself, "Keep up the good work little dude."

Sometimes I will take my finger and play with them... the little ones get mad and blast off, bouncing off your finger.

A story from a friend of mine:
"I was sitting in my office at home and I kept hearing a light thump every so often. I finally got distracted and went to investigate.
Next to my desk I have an extra chair that is currently piled up with books. A jumping spider was trying to hop from the books to my desk, was falling short and hitting the sheet metal panel on the side of my desk. So I scooted the chair closer and watched. He took forever to go back up the chair but he made it to the desk on the next try. I sat back down and went back to work. In about 10 minutes I noticed him on top of my monitor. He must like it back there because he's been around there for weeks. I throw moths back there when I catch them."

nope don't care for spiders. They can do their thing but if they cross my path we shall have a duel.

See I don't want them inside the house. If it's a spider I can identify it will get dumped outside. If I can't identify it, squish.
Outside, I leave them alone unless they're venomous and in proximity to something I need to do.

see I can't identify any of them. So if I see it in or near my house it is squished or smacked, or burned or whatever is handy. That and I hate going to take the trash cans out or go check something on one of the cars and end up walking into a web and then I get that feeling I have spiders on me for like 30 minutes.

I have to admit I kind of like them. I have several of the black furry ones with colored dots on their butt that live in my house. They don't even make webs I think. Mine pop up around my monitor every now and then and I'm like "Whoa, hi there"

I think they're pretty awesome. Like they have personalities. You can watch them looking at you too. I don't even remove them from the house. Pick em sometimes too if I have the time. Never had one even try to bite me in all the years I've played with them.

It's pretty cool when you move across in front of one of those spiders, and it rotates to keep facing you. I've also seen them outside my office window, pouncing onto prey. They're pretty scrappy for their size ;)
