Does anyone else _LIKE_ jumping spiders?

I'm trying to get better with them. I used to hate them all,the big, little, live, and dead ones. We were in a meeting at work and little one crawled on the table in front of me and I'm the only one that jumps back and another guy smacks it with his hand, that was a bit of an eye opener, and that's after 40 years.

I see them outside, massacring the insect population, and I think to myself, "Keep up the good work little dude."

When I was watering the grass around the foundation of my house, the spiders came up crawling on the house (big ones) and also some other little black bugs. I watched the little black bug crawl right across the path of two spiders and nothing happened. I was a little disappointed, I felt like killing all three of them.

One morning I walked out my front door to go to work and came so close to walking into a giant web that a spider the size of my face had made right between the to columns that lead to my front door. Not the way I like to start my day.

I do. I also like barking spiders - though they have a way of being around in the oddest places at the oddest times, they do provide some entertaining sounds.

Gawd....another spider thread.By now we all know who hates them and who doesn't.When are the "kill them with fire" comments going to start to make this thread complete??

These are good guys. But to some, all spiders look alike. Remind you of anything else? You have to make the effort to know the difference. CB
