Might wanna read your labels boys, anything Purina is absolute crap and full of corn.

I learned that after reading this thread. Now have my pup on 4Health from Tractor Supply as only place near me other than Walmart and Crest. Moving to a 35 pound bag actually lowered my cost vs Purina. According to girl that rang me up, after I recommend the link listed to the guy in front of me, 4Health is Diamond, but quite a bit cheaper.

the thing about the high-dollar food is:

1. you use less. I was putting the same amount of Merrick in the bowl as I was the old stuff. I thought my dog hated the new food because it was tough getting him to eat it. Turns out I was giving him too much and he was just full.
2. It saves you money on vet bills down the road.

Another vote for Taste of the Wild. My dog used to stink...and stink BAD no matter how many times she was bathed. On the advice of my vet, I switched to Taste of the Wild and she stopped smelling like hot garbage. It's a little pricey, but she eats less of it and she seems more healthy...healthier....more healthier.... There are a few different flavors, so I switch it up each time I get a new bag so it doesn't get boring for her.
