Hunted a place closer to home this evening, steady bird flight and worth a two man limit.

Went this afternoon with my dad and little brother. We got 20. Lost 2 that we coukd not find. My dad as always kicked our butts. I think he only shot 15 times and killed 11 birds. And he was using his old 1100 lw 28 gauge. Me and my brother shot 3 times as much. Good times for sure.

Lol that is true Dennis. I was using a 12 and my brother was using a 20. My dad is likes being different. He uses a 16 gauge for pheasant. My dad cant get to excited about hunting deer, hogs, or anything else but he sure loves bird hunting. Especially his quail and pheasant.

Also went to Lexington opening morning with 5 good buddies. I shot the only bird. Tough hunting but it was good to catch up with the boys at the start of hunting season. Thats what it is all about. Bagging some game is just a bonus to me.
