Thanks. That kid is all about fishing right now. He has taken custody of one of my spincasters. The fish in that pond are hitting green crank baits pretty hard.
Fished the Intercoastal waterway this afternoon. The target species was Sheepshead and Black drum.
Of course, forgot to take the bait which is fiddler crabs, so relied on shrimp and artificial scented baits.
Hooked one big fish that had teeth as it bit me off, but the rest were croakers and pin fish along with two saltwater catfish that got thrown back.
The croaker and pin fish will be used for cut bait in the surf tomorrow hopefully.

I put together a jug line to mess around with, then rigged a dedicated catfish pole, and got another pole ready to go.
