Those big $2000 reels have an option to shift into a 4X gear reduction to bring this big fish up from 500’ or so. Still a fight.

Jealous!! Nice looking rigs!!Well we spent 6 hours on Skiatook today and got skunked. Water temps were 47-52. We finally found the fish by the bluffs, but they had lockjaw. Oh well, it was a beautiful day on the lake and I finally got to take a pic of our baby behind the new tow rig!

Went out yesterday to the Verdigris River and didn't even get a bite. I tried everything in my tackle box. I guess the fish weren't hungry? Heading out this morning to a different spot. Good luck guys!
