First time out yesterday with the Tenkara Fly rod and I caught a bunch of little Blue Gills in a friend`s pond and had a blast doing it...

Yeah, that's a load of fun. I bought a fly rod and reel when I was a kid, taught myself how to use it, and spent many a day having a blast catching bluegill.

We have a small lake here that is full of big bluegill I see people from all over fly fishing it

Beaver creek use to have some holes where you could catch huge blue gills and pretty decent crappie or bass.

She had the line broke on her princess pole so I spent the rest of the time casting and watching.

Did some fishing yesterday down by the docks and caught a few crappie. It's still a little to early here on Grand for the crappie unless your in deep brush. But they will be moving in to the shallow in a few weeks.
