Today at Hefner I got a small walleye and the biggest fish I've ever caught; 5.5lb catfish.
I know it's not that big in the grand scheme of catfish, but it was fun.

I took a father and 2 of his boys out fishing. Battled the crowds and the heat to put some fish in the boat. It was a slow day with only 5 fish caught.

Took my wife fishing again this morning.

I fished the Tenkara rod this morning at Haskell lake for about 2 hours before heat and humidity made it uncomfortable. As usual I was throwing a 3" trout worm on #8 Mustad streamer hook...

Temperatures weren't the only thing on fire today. The fish were on fire as well. We didn't take a bunch of pictures because we were to busy. We took a quick pic of 1 dad caught, tossed it back in and set the hook on another. We caught somewhere around 45 fish. We kept 4 that were hooked deep.
