Didn’t keep the hammerhead, guide didn’t think you could keep them. He doesn’t target sharks but he didn’t have a problem letting us okies try to land whatever we caught. I would imagine it would be okay to eat. Our ice chests couldn’t hold any more fish. Lol

Went out for a couple of hour this morning trolling and caught a bunch of white bass. Kept just enough for the wife and I.

I went wading in Spring Creek yesterday, the water was very clear and cold. I and caught several Sunnies and seen a few Spotted Bass hunting together so I targetted them for several minutes throwing everything I could think of but they were not having anything to do with me...

Did you keep the hammerhead? Not sure if it’s legal or even good eating lol. Just curious.

I know guys that have fished the Gulf for 40+ years and have never caught a hammerhead.
My youngest son has been saltwater fishing twice. The only thing he has caught, is 3 hammerheads.
