Looks like some get my point and for those that don't I'll speak really slow and clearly.

It's "MY" property......one more time, it's "MY" property......I bought it, I own it, it's "MY" property.

It really makes no difference if the front yard is bermuda, dirt, gravel, cactus, tumble weeds or covered in sand burrs.......respect the fact that it's "MY" property and saty off "MY" property unless invited and leave when ask to.

You're exactly right. You asked for advice and you got it! Just a tip, try some boxer shorts, your tightie whities are too tight!

Wouldn't it be great if you could hook up a motion sensor to the sprinkler system. Other than that, game camera for proof of trespassing with date/time stamp.
This is possible.

Speak directly to the boys.

Tell them you'll pay them $10 at the end of the month if they keep other kids off your lawn.

It is only a matter of time before the car runs out of juice and the problem disappears anyway.

In the larger scheme of things, going to war about tread marks in your lawn seems all downside anyway.
Sure...then they save this money, buy a stolen gun, go postal for getting in trouble as a kid for driving across the neighbor's yard, and then what...?

I can't believe I clicked on this thread again...
Kidding, right? It keeps getting better and better. This is one of the funniest threads I've read on OSA! I almost fell out of my chair - several times!

Have you also considered when they go in your yard they are breathing your air? Now you have them for stealing air. I think the odds are in your favor when you get to court.

Glad to live out in the country. I have had one issue with a punk kid and some of his friends one night several years ago. It had just rained about 3 inches and this kid drove through my pasture and was doing donuts about 1/2 mile south of my house. When I drove down there he came flying up next to me stoned out of his mind. When I asked him to leave he smarted off ans asked what if he didn't. I informed him that he had 30 seconds to get off my property or else. About that time he started to open his door and one of his buddies got out on the other side. I pulled out my Redhawk 44 and at about 10' shot his left front tire. He got back into the truck and made it out to the county road and off my property before calling his dad. His dad has always been a good friend of the family so he called me and asked what in the hell I was doing shooting at his boy. I replied I was not shooting at your boy I shot his tire after he refused to leave. I asked him if he would rather I had called the law and had him picked up for drugs and trespassing or lose a tire.

Now who is the one being childish. Clearly you are unable to be a good adult example to the kids. You asked the question and were given answers, which you didn't like. There is a big difference between doing what you can do and what you should do. Yes, you can throw a fit because it's your lawn, but that doesn't change how you should handle it.

I, too, am glad I live in the country. I once had a steer, Sir Loin, that kept getting out of the pasture and trespassed in my front yard - and yes, he even defacated on it a few times.
I would gently get some feed and lure him back in the pasture. Third time it happened, my 4yo grandson was with me. I lured Sir Loin to the corral, which is made of pipe and rod, so he wasn't getting out again. Grandson asked, "Is he in time-out, Papa?" "Yep, he sure is. Time-out until the lights are out!"

We butchered Sir Loin a few months later and have been eating parts of him ever since.
Just throwing out another idea for the OP!
