Remington Speedmaster....model 552. It is alot of fun to shoot. I also have an OLD Mossberg Model 152 with the fold down grip built in. I haven't shot it yet, but it looks fun.

Back when I turned 40...my "gift" to myself was going to be a "high end" .22 Bolt action rifle. I nearly fainted at the prospect of paying or a Kimber or Cooper rifle.

Ended up with a Ruger 77/22... and put a Simmons Whitetail 4x/32 scope on it.

This rifle will one- hole bulk pack ammo from 50 yards prone... until you run out of bullets... it's put 50, 75 rounds into a quarter- sized ragged hole so often it boring.

Mine has a the tappered barrel... I'd get the bull barrel if I bought another... not for the accuracy but for the weight. My only complaint about the 77 I have is that it "hangs" a little light for offhand shooting
