ETA: It looks like this is for a military contract. We'll see If there's ever a civilian version I guess.

I still don’t understand why they don’t offer pistol caliber carbines. Most of the popular ones already accept Glock mags. Sounds like a money maker to me…

Been shooting a polymer lower on my one of AR's for over 10 years, lots of rounds shooting mainly gophers (Ground squirrels). Nary a worry on that polymer.

Only the lower is polymer, the parts are not--including take down pins.
