Friends, we lived to see a GLOCK™ rifle! The GR-115F cal 5.56x45mm
No finger grooves tells us this is definitely their gen 1........

The GR-115F is submitted for a 2021 British Special Operations contract but photos have only just leaked: What is remarkable is that the GR-115F includes Glock patents for rifles which they have been applying for since ~2019. For example, the bolt release and magazine release are proprietary Glock designs, as well as a 4-position adjustable gas block under the quick-detach handguard. An adjustable gas system is imperative for short-barreled AR's particularly when shooting suppressed or going between suppressed and unsuppressed. On the bottom of the handguard is a lever and nut to take the handguard off and remove it to access the gas key on the battlefield.

A GLOCK rollmark on an AR! The Glock rifle patents which caused us a buzz a few years ago are on a real, live gun! This is a select fire rifle- Note the 3rd pin and mark for auto setting. In other words, this particular model will never be available to the masses. But this is the first step in putting GLOCK rifles in our hands.
The next question... But, does it take Glock mags?

Too late to the AR game to make a difference, but the fan boys will collect these as usual.

Glock and AR-15 are a perfect match.

Ugly as hell, no character, but function like a tool should - effectively.

Still....why? Not enough folks making ARs yet?

Agreed. I do think Glock has a place in the AR market if they keep to their current model of dead reliable, no frills, affordable weapons you can trust your life with. I’ve always thought it is ridiculous that you have to spend $2k for a KAC/DD/noveske when a $500 Glock is an acceptable sidearm.

Been shooting a polymer lower on my one of AR's for over 10 years, lots of rounds shooting mainly gophers (Ground squirrels). Nary a worry on that polymer.

Only the lower is polymer, the parts are not--including take down pins.
I guess I need to use lol more often. I have a Hesse polymer AR lower on one of my rifles.
