I dunno what it is about weed that triggers people so badly when someone will kill someone on alcohol in next few minutes...... someone will overdose on opiates soon shortly after that. Hate to think outside the box, but dare I speak of sugar and tobacco? 130K deaths a year from Lung Cancer. No, we must appeal to emotion in an asinine way....we must worry about a fictitious story about someone's daughter behind a dumpster because of da reefer. If it can only save one!!!

No joke. When an officer gets home after a long shift, it's far more likely he's partaking in alcohol before beating his wife. Switching to weed legally might save a few careers and marriages. We really need to think about this using facts, not imagined scenarios.

As for the recreational weed tax, it should be taxed just like beer, wine, and booze. WRT medical weed that's prescribed by a doc and dispensed at a pharmacy, no tax. Weed dispensaries which are on every corner are not pharmacies and are just a cut out for selling rec weed, so tax them. They're gonna be the first places to sell weed OTC when this passes so...
