There was none until obama put the tax on that segment of medical supplies.
My son was making good money selling that equipment until obummer screwed up that business.
Yep. We sold medical equipment world wide and were doing good. Well on our way to multi-million dollar years. Then a bunch of low lives got caught cheating Medicare for equipment, so the government squeezed out us smaller dealers. Then along comes Obama and drives another nail in the coffin.
We were having to figure the tax rate on each separate state plus the tax on the equipment. Made things so bad we finally went bankrupt. Especially when our overseas customers tried to figure out all their taxes (VAT) and everything else. It was a mess.

that's....not even close to accurate. i'm not saying it doesn't happen, but as someone who has driven both drunk and stoned....it's not even close.

like that's the craziest thing about "hard" drugs, most people don't realize the most "anything" you can be is drunk.

like you can be more "drunk" than you can be LOTS of other things. i know people who consider smoking a joint a "hard drug" but think *literally blacking out drunk and forgetting hours of the night before is totally normal because ya know....everyone does that or whatever*.

like you have to do a LOT of certain drugs to get ANYWHERE NEAR the level of drunk MOST people get when they drink heavily. i would trust a person on low dose psilocybin behind a wheel WAY before i would three cocktails.
Behind the wheel it’s been proven beyond a doubt that a person’s judgement and reaction time are effected. Ask a state trooper. I heard one in a gun store 2 yrs ago he greatly feared what was ahead of us here in Oklahoma when medical marijuana was passed.

It's pretty weak to refuse to vote for Stitt for making a special election available for a bill that the AG is actively stalling that's has already been approved for the ballot. Wizeek!
So y'all gonna vote for hofmeister then? Coz a vote for anybody else is a vote for her. I guess maybe you're good with that...you know, feigned principles and sh*t like all typical republicans. That's why republicans are viewed as spineless jellyfish...look at CocaineMitch - massive catturd but he's got his principles.

I'm betting this will get him re-elected and I hope he does.
So is he ! That’s not the only reason as I despise his attitude toward the tribes. The guy is a craving maniac for power. God forbid if someone crosses him . A narcissist if there ever was one. My step daughter dated him while at OSU. She can tell you all about him . A real Jekyll and hide for sure. Scary guy sitting in the governor’s office

My comments are generic in nature and directed toward the multitude of self-proclaimed Rs that bash Stitt from every angle imaginable, not just in this thread, but in multiple threads in this forum. It's silly to me.
If I figured that I'd point you out specifically, then I'd call out you out by name, so please don't read into it. But if you want to think so, well, ok. I can't do much about that.
No problems here.

Wtf happened to getting rid of the grocery tax???? I'd rather that be put thru than a bunch of stoners hanging out in the left lane going 20 under the speed limit! We're sooo screwed!

This was brought about through a petition that got enough signatures to be put on a ballot.

As far as the grocery tax.....

MJ is still federally illegal is it not? So it was illegal for the state government to put medical MJ on the ballot in the first place. Same with recreational. That is something that should go through Congress.

I’m all for helping someone out that genuinely needs it. As has been mentioned, you get heroin from the poppy plant but you also get a lot of pain pills from it that help people with REAL pain issues.

Spare me the stats on opioid addiction. That is up to the individual. I’ve been prescribed them myself and I’m not hooked. Do I understand why people get hooked? Of course!! Those things make you feel great! Just like weed did in my misspent youth and just like alcohol did when I lived in the bottle for 5 years.

The point is is that when you “legalize” something that was formerly illegal you open the floodgates.

The medical MJ deal has never been about helping people who actually need help. That is a flat out lie. It is a classic case of “give an inch and they’ll take a mile”. It was a way to get their foot in the door. It shows you what kind of people these people are that they falsely appeal to decent people’s sense of compassion and kindness (when pushing these state questions) to further their own secret plans. Make no mistake, recreational is and has always been the goal.

Helping the few people who actually need help, help they already could have gotten in most cases from other REAL medication, is NOT worth it in the long run. PERIOD……

People living in a constant state of intoxication on a mass scale is not a good thing. “Legalizing” another intoxicant is not a good thing. Making access to an intoxicant even easier for underage kids to get a hold of is not a good thing. It’s already been alluded to but the Dems and the RINOS want a populace that doesn’t think clearly and is 1000 times more likely to be dependent on the government. While the pot heads are cultivating weed these politicians are cultivating voters.

This is not good. It never has been good and never will be good. 99% of users got a card so they can get high. No other reason. Getting high is not good. Just like getting drunk is not good.

Who drank beer in high school? Your kids and grandkids are gonna be getting it from their older friends. No doubt about that. You think that’s a good thing? You people seriously think 21 year olds having access to another intoxicant is a good thing? Use numbers are gonna go up dramatically. Weed is gonna be so widespread and the use so prevalent it will be staggering.

The self avowed Libertarians can spare me your arguments and I’ll spare you the moral and spiritual arguments that actually matter more than anything I’ve already said. Just don’t have the time right now. A person does NOT have the right to do anything they want. Period…. That’s why there are laws. I agree there are too many laws but this is where we have it right. Had it right..

I’m right, you’re wrong.

Rant over

The dumb ***** in our area didn't factor in the Oklahoma winds. Most of the pot farms with plastic roofs had them dismantled during the spring winds ruining their crops. I guess the ones in your area are a little smarter.

It’s the super wealthy people growing out here. Rich getting richer.

Hope it passes. People should not have to pay the state a license fee to get help for their needs.

I bet it passes like a Taco Bell Taco!
Why not? We have got the same thing right now due to lackadaisical Rx's handed out online anyway.

I hate that crap. Every time I was even close to it as an LEO I got to sneezing and eyes watering. They used me as a drug dog. All I had to do is poke my head inside a car.
