Gun ban hysteria geographically limited

I was talking with a friend who lives in PA and he said that they have so much .223 on their shelves there isnt room for more. I talked to another shooting buddy and he confirmed it.

I know that PA has plenty of hunters but in the specific area that this Walmart is they are limited to shotgun hunting only so perhaps that is why there is so much rifle ammo available but still. I was telling them how if you went to any of the 5 or 6 walmarts near where I live in BA and there was cheap .223 on the shelf it was like winning the lottery.

Do you think that in OK we are over reacting worse than the rest of the country? Have any of you been talking others in other parts of the country regarding the runs on guns and ammo? What has their feedback been? My buddies in PA were laughing at us in OK.

I just got back from Ohio and it is the same situation up there. $2000 dpms base model ar-15s and no 5.56 ammo anywhere.

If i remember correctly you could hunt with rifles in PA.

It's not science, but I looked up pmags and 5.56 on gunbroker this morning. I see high closing prices going to buyers all over the USA.

I WANT it to be temporary and local, but I want to be 225lbs and 29 again too.

I think your friend need to take care of his buddy in BA.

Its not like that here in Louisiana. The hysteria is just as bad here.

Reading PA is experiencing the hysteria.

When i lived there, the shotgun only areas are a few counties around Philly and suburbs. .223 is/was not legal for deer.

Talked with some friends in MD who are gun guys. Hysteria is all over. No ammo that they can find.

If you bud can seriously get all the .223 that he wants in PA, it might be worth his time to start taking orders and shipping it.

i was in NM this past week and stopped in at the local gun shop. They had 50+ Ar's on the shelf along with several other "assault" rifles. Non seemed to be out of normal price range to me.

Pmags on the other hand.................. were hiked a little but they had gobs of them in stock and were selling them like hotcakes.
