HB 3354 - Open Carry

I got this email from Dan Kirby today:


Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns about HB 3354. I would like to let you know that I am a member of the NRA and fully support gun rights and the 2nd Amendment. I had a family emergency yesterday that needed my immediate attention. I left the Capitol for a short time and had every intention on making it back in time to cast my vote in support to override the veto. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to make it back in time.

Please note that I did vote for the initial bill and be assured if this vote comes up again this year, I will be voting to support the override.
