A friend picked one up during a Thanksgiving sale at Atwoods for something around $220 before tax a few years ago.
SCCY had an awesome lifetime replacement warranty if your gun was stolen they would replace it for free, but some folks took advantage of this and SCCY had to discontinue that policy.
The only parts breakage that I've heard about have been the firing pins which have been on guns that have seen thousands of rounds of live and/or dry firing. The trigger pull is long but doesn't seem terribly heavy considering the advertised weight.
