I havent bought .22 ammo in months. I'm pretty set on that.

Maybe giving a big secret away, but atwoods carries it for $2.00 for 50 rounds. Dont now if they have any in stock, as i havent been by there in awhile.

Week before xmas, AW had the Fed 525 bulk for $16.99.
I bought 5, one for each g-kid.

And to think that a few months ago the CMP was selling sealed cases of military surplus Remington .22 ammo for about $150 shipped for 5,000 rounds...

It was longer than that. They still had it in the e-store at least 18 hours after sending out the notification.

ETA: I think you may have meant the second round of sales of this ammo, which indeed lasted a very short time. The first go-round lasted at least one or two days, IIRC.

Gene sears has 22 ammo, I just bought 1000 rounds. The cheapest they have is like $8 or 9 per 100 though
