Instead of trying to combat a tool , try to combat the real problem. The real problem is no matter what you try to ban it will not work. People hell bent on killing will use a different means. Try looking up The Bath killings in 1927. Try looking up OKC bombing, etc. try doing some research before you try and engage people who take there God given right the way we should seriously. You want your rights protected well so do we. Speed limits do not stop people from speeding and there is no need for cars that can do 200 MPH but they are legal. Drunk driving is legal but yet more people die each year than those who die from firearm attacks. Why not ban alcohol ...Oh wait they tried that it did not work.

the 2nd amendment was established so that the people could defend themselves from a tyrannical government. Since the national guard takes its orders from the government that is not who it is taking about, and since protection from the government is what its for then what kind of weapon do you think you would need in such an event.
I guarantee that if a responsible gun owner were to take you out to shoot an ar style rifle you would have a great time and think that having to reload every 5 shots was a bummer
Besides the fact that we all know zombies travel in large groups so high capacity mags are the best option for a zombie outbreak.
why a 30 rd mag, cause it balances the rifle so well, and beta mags are too heavy
