Breakfast is my thing. My wife claims not to know how to cook it since she figured out I was good at it. My kids love big breakfasts on the weekends. Bacon, sausage, eggs any way, omelets, pancakes, waffles, and muffins are all on the menu. I DON"T DO GRITS! :D

Oven baked on a wire racked cookie sheet also gives you that perfectly flat, much less shriveled, aesthetically pleasing bacon strips. I wouldn't put money on it but it has to be somewhat better for you too since it's not swimming in the liquid fat it creates. Worst part is cleaning the wire rack when you're done.

on the United States of Bacon (Travel channel) they went to this place in San Fran that had Millionaires Bacon. It is super thick (5 slices per lb). They then cover it with black pepper, brown sugar and then lightly with crushed red pepper....Bake it in the over. When I say they covered it with brown sugar, it looked like icing on a cake it was that thick.

Trying improve Bacon is silly. Brown sugar? Crushed pepper? Battered? Chocolate covered? No thanks.

Sounds similar to trying to bedazzle a fine diamond & expecting it to look better.
