Bacon should be cooked in the oven If you want consistent perfect bacon.

Yep!

Baked in the oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, give or take a couple depending on thickness, on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. This makes for the best bacon I've ever had. It's crispy without being hard and crunchy, if that even makes sense. Unless I'm camping, I don't make bacon any other way.
