Unfortunately, I don't get bacon like I used to. My wife has converted to turkey bacon and I can't stand that stuff! Guess I need to start going to the grocery store with her.
The sweet and salty of brown sugar bacon is devine.
Do yourself a favor, go to a store with a good selection of cast iron cookware and get a skillet and a press that are the same size. Always rub a piece of bacon fat on both surfaces (pan and press) and heat both pieces slightly before adding the bacon. Then fill the pan, add the press, turn up the heat, and salivate as you sniff that great aroma! MMMMMMaybe I better go see about making a BLT.

I had an ex that'd cook bacon in the oven. It turned out alright. My bacon was pretty good.
See, nobody ever taught me to cook so i had to teach myself. Therefore i'm proud of myself for learning to cook bacon.
