i have no liability for what someone else does with a gun. So what if i sold it to them? it's not my business. Individuals are responsible for their own actions.

Yeah right. Your heart and soul are in the right place but society doesn't agree. That's why you can get sued and lose because some dumb kid steals your car, gets in a wreck and its all your fault because you left the keys in it.

Sell a gun to someone who uses it to kill themselves, commit a crime, commit murder etc etc and it is not beyond the realm of possibilities that one would get sued for it.

I know a lot of this is kidding from the FFL’s here so that’s taken for what it was intended.

Just a thought though. Dealers who actually think forcing us to fill out a 4473 via FFL will throw business their way might not see the big picture.

Lots of folks buy, sell & trade because we get bored and it’s a fun hobby. Much of that is already done via FFL because they often have the best deal and on hand stock. When it stops being fun we stop. So do our dollars.

If buying and selling becomes a big P.I.T.A. I will go buy the John Deere riding mower I’ve been wanting for years and will actually use more than my next Colt anyway.

We may have very well already hit that wall.
