This is the truth. Last weeks snow was the wettest snow I have seen in a while. It turned made all the dirt/sand roads in this area 4x4 only for the entire week. There was still some of it left last night when it started raining.

453pm, and not a snowflake all day in Guthrie. I'm grateful for the 1.18" of rain, but why do so many storms miss us?
Just started snowing south of Ponca.
Darn right its muddy. We got 2" of rain overnight before the wind and snow picked up and blew the fence over. My boots were ankle deep before I got the fence picked back up and wired together.
We got 5 or 6" of snow on the ground right now 80ft from any structure. Power has been in and out all day, but the most we've lost it for is 2-3 minutes. I've almost considered just running the generator...

Wind finally laid down a little. Flat open areas away from any structure is over the top of my knee boots. 18" I would say. There are cars and trucks down our road that are drifted completely over. There are snow drifts all over. Highways and roads are yet to be touched yet.
Power had quit blinking here, still a lot of people stuck outsitde of town and rescue crews stuck as well. 18" average around my place where it wasn't drifting with 3-4' drifts in the front yard. Had one resident killed here today in structure collapse. People spending night in their vehicles on roadways outside of town.
Was still snowing when I took last measurement.
